Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat
-Summer 2012-
: Chemainus Theatre Festival
This summer I have had the privledge of being a part of the children's choir in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the Chemainus Theatre Festival. In total there about 96 showings and I get to perform... 53! Isn't that insane?! I have loved every minute of working in a professional atmosphere with sixteen amazing professional actors who put so much effort into what they love to do.

Grease (Revue)
-Summer 2011-
: Queen Margaret's School Theatre
During the summer of 2011, the Chalboard Theatre Society offered a Grease revue, directed by Tilly Lorence and Samuel Shumka, along with choreography by Talietha Sangha and Bea Salmond. I was first cast as Vince Fontaine, then later given the part of Rizzo because I was her understudy. I was so excited! Grease is such a fun and active musical, it is one of my all-time favourites. This revue was one of my musical theatre highlights!

Cinderella (The Enchanted Edition)
: Cowichan Theatre (Island Savings Centre)
This past year, I was in grade nine at Duncan Christian Secondary School. In December 2011, Greg Hollett held auditions for the school's upcoming production, Cinderella (The Enchanted Edition). The new year rolled around, the cast list went up... I got the role of Cinderella! I was so excited to one, not only play the female lead, but two, challenge myself with a new character to portray onstage. Cinderella is sweet whereas, for example, Ms. Hannigan, is not. We performed Cinderella at the Cowichan Theatre on May 23 and 24. Leading up to the show, I had started to develop a bit of a cold. Not getting enough sleep and rehearsing every spare moment of one's day will do that to a person. Come opening night, my voice was definitely not at it's best but I went out there and gave it my all anyway. The next morning, I woke up only with a few hours of sleep and basically no voice. Long story short, I went out onstage and performed, having to lip synch my songs. Scariest thing of my life. But I will take this experience with me until the end, it has taught me so much!http://www.cowichannewsleader.com/entertainment/151186765.html

The Show Must Go On
: Quamichan Middle School Theatre
In 2010/2011, the Chalkboard Theatre Society offered a musical theatre class, directed by Tilly Lorence and Laura Cardriver. Coming into the class, no one knew exactly what we would be doing, only that we would be performing some kind of show at the end of the year. After discussing our options, one of the students, Courtney Wright, offered to write a play for us. I was cast as Tanya, a teenager just trying to fit in, and I really enjoyed it. We performed the show at Quamichan Middle School's theatre and had a great turn out!

Alice In Wonderland (Jr.)
-2008/2009-
: Cowichan Theatre (Island Savings Centre)
The year of 2008/2009, Mulberry Lane School Of Music put on Alice In Wonderland (Jr.) at the Cowichan Theatre. It was directed by Tilly Lorence and Kathy Lassche. This was my first year being involved in musical theatre! As we were all still young, the directors decided to cast double parts, having two Alice's, etc. I was cast as one of the cheshire cats which I was indeed thrilled about. It was a great first time experience for me and I met many great people as well.

Annie (Jr.)
-2009/2010-
: Cowichan Theatre (Island Savings Centre)
In 2009/2010, Mulberry Lane School Of Music presented Annie (Jr.) at the Cowichan Theatre. It was directed by Tilly Lorence. This was my second year being involved in musical theatre and, as I loved the story of Annie, I was super excited to be a part of this show. After auditions, I was cast as Ms. Hannigan! I was overjoyed. Again, they double casted it so I only played her for the first act but all in all, it was a fantastic experience for me.
